My Grandmother is on Google Maps!

My mom recently discovered that her mom, my grandmother, was photographed by the Google Street View truck while sweeping the street in front of her house. (For those of you who don't know my grandmother, she's an obsessive compulsive cleaner and sweeping the street isn't an uncommon activity for her.) Anyway, here she is: Gloria Butrico at her finest.

Drug Deal Gone Bad

Eric was rudely awoken at 1 am to the sound of an aggressive struggle, a drug deal gone bad, in the hotel room next door. Half asleep and acutely afraid, Eric immediately packed his bags and fled for his car. With less than 3 hours of sleep, he pushed forward until reaching Santa Cruz, CA.

Night 3: Fairfield, CA to Santa Cruz, CA - 100 miles.

As Eric closes in on the mighty Pacific, Boardhead Brothers gears up for production. A potential second music video for Eric, as well as a live concert performance are in the talks. Fingers are crossed as details are discussed.

In case you missed it, you can view Eric's premiere music video for Like a Smoke Ring by clicking here.

Living Vicariously through a Road Tripper

Wednesday, February 4th 2009 - I received an email from my cousin, Eric Meulman, that read along the following lines: Adam, I'm driving to San Francisco then down the California coast. I'll see you in a few days. Mind you, Eric lives in Allentown, PA and is currently cellphone less (by choice). He's traveling in his pickup truck with nothing more than a backpack full of clothes, his Martin guitar, and a road atlas. Excited by his seemingly sporadic adventure, I've elected to live vicariously through his travels by updating his progress here on my blog.

Day 1: Allentown, PA to Peru, IL. 700 miles.
