Eric was rudely awoken at 1 am to the sound of an aggressive struggle, a drug deal gone bad, in the hotel room next door. Half asleep and acutely afraid, Eric immediately packed his bags and fled for his car. With less than 3 hours of sleep, he pushed forward until reaching Santa Cruz, CA.
